If there are concerns about whether or not your school ever got their check, you can email LSGive@microsoft.com . In regards to the SuperStar Sweepstakes, that has been completed. All schools that that were eligible were signed up until May 31st, 2008. If you have your school is still waiting for a check, please email searchandgive@scholastic.com . 9 月 22 日
	(no name) 发表: My school received a check at the end of August. With just a few people participating last year, we got a check for nearly $300. I was happy about that. I was able to put that info in our Back to School newsletter and am hoping that I will be able to convince more families to sign up and participate. Here is my question. Before the Search and Give site changed formats it showed the top 10 participants from your school. Where did that go? Can you still see that info somewhere? I think that would make people more eager to participate and compete with each other to be top on the list. Also, what is this star school thing all about? Do you have to sign up to be part of that competition or are you just automatically entered? 9 月 13 日

I was disappointed that our school didn't win a "star" school promotion. Maybe I shouldn't be. I am ready to encourage Search and Give with my parents and teachers, but my school has to have last year's check before I can do this in good conscience. I agree that Scholastic's promotion of Yahoo's Good Search is not a good thing. Why would they promote two different programs? 9 月 6 日

Since Scholastic awards additional money to Star schools, don't you think this would be a conflict of interest? My individual account continues to increase, but my schools account has stayed the same for about a week. This is the week of July 14. Also, I received an email from Microsoft and Scholastic on June 16 that the checks for last year were in the mail. I checked at school on July 10 and the check had not been received. I modified the reprintable program flyer to explain that the games can be played to earn tickets, too, and made copies in the school office to distribute to the kids in their "Friday Folders". In general, you can inform your school and PTO that the general filter settings set by Microsoft are set to HIGH on the Search and Give website, because they are aware of the sensitivity for children and parents visiting the site -- but since the internet is changing by the second, and new material constantly becomes available, there is always the off-chance that unwanted content can eek its way in before it is caught. This is why it is ALWAYS recommended that a parent supervise his or her child on the computer at all times. 5 月 12 日

I thought that would be around the first of the month, but our school has not been reset as of yet. We only have students until the 21st of May. It would be nice to have the check before the students and teachers are gone for the summer. I still have doubting teachers that there really be money given.
